After registering for a commencement ceremony, students should order their cap and gown by visiting http://colleges.herffjones.com/college/strayer/.

Students MUST have a registration confirmation number to order a cap and gown.

Bachelor’s – (cap, gown, tassel & stole of gratitude) - $48.50
Master’s – (cap, gown, tassel & hood) - $52.00

March 31, 2012 - Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 10:00 a.m.

Registration and Cap and Gown Deadline: March 2, 2012

May 12, 2012 - Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia 10:00 a.m.

Registration and Cap and Gown Deadline: April 13, 2012*
*The Atlanta ceremony is limited to the first 1,800 student registrations. This ceremony will be 3-4 hours.

June 23, 2012 - Verizon Center, Washington, District of Columbia, 10:00 a.m.

Registration and Cap and Gown Deadline: May 22, 2012*
*The Washington D.C. ceremony is limited to the first 1,800 student registrations. This ceremony will be 3-4 hours.

September 29, 2012 - Amway Center, Orlando, Florida, 10:00 a.m.

October 27, 2012 - Norfolk Scope Arena, Norfolk, Virginia, 10:00 a.m.

Registration and Cap and Gown Deadline: September 28, 2012

Registration and Cap and Gown Deadline: November 2, 2012*
*The Baltimore ceremony is limited to the first 1,100 student registrations.

Ordering Cap and Gown After the Deadlines

We strongly recommend all students order their cap and gown before the deadlines above. If students do not order their cap and gown by the deadlines, they will need to purchase their cap and gown at the ceremony (45 minutes prior to commencement in the graduate area).

Late orders incur a $25 rush fee. Only cash is accepted when purchasing cap and gowns at the commencement ceremony. For all questions related to cap and gown please contact Herff Jones directly at 1.800.837.4235.
