Catherine Ipcizade has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of education and publishing.
As an educator, Ipcizade has held adjunct positions at universities such as UCLA, the University of Phoenix, Ashford University, and Argosy University, focusing her instruction on English, mythology, and writing. She is the author of more than 20 books for children, as well as numerous other publications, and bridges her interests in writing and education by visiting schools to inspire children to write outside of academic requirements.
Ipcizade is currently a full-time Online English Professor for the College Readiness Program at Strayer University, and joined Strayer’s Distinguished Scholars Council in 2012. She is passionate about mentoring students of all ages to explore both creative and academic writing, and enjoys combining creativity and academia to keep her classes engaged.
Ipcizade holds both a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from National University.
