Manager, Online Faculty
Dr. Lisa Bailey has been with Strayer University since 2003, when she started teaching at the Shelby Oaks and Thousand Oaks campuses in Memphis. Since then, she has worked as a full-time online instructor and associate Campus Dean.
She is currently manager of online faculty for the Mid-Atlantic Region at Strayer University.
Dr. Bailey has staffed 231 classes in the areas of psychology, sociology and research methods. In addition, she has managed 231 faculty members in the above disciplines, reviewed SOP and audits to determine faculty in need of remediation, and managed the Directed Research Project two-week seminar. She has also served on several committees, including the EDU Committee and the OSW Committee. Dr. Kincaid has also served as a subject matter expert and course writer. In 2010, she was awarded the Donald R. Stoddard Teaching Award of Excellence.
In addition to her educational duties, Dr. Bailey has also served as media liaison for Strayer University’s radio media tour, giving interviews to radio stations around the country. She has discussed how the current economy has impacted the consumer mindset during the holidays; provided helpful tips for spotting and combating holiday stress; and made suggestions on how parents can manage their children’s gift-receiving expectations during the holidays.
To date, she has conducted 13 radio interviews, reaching nearly two million listeners in top media markets such as Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Denver, Cincinnati, and Orlando. Dr. Bailey was also heard nationally on the Urban Radio Network’s Beth Smith Show.
