Faculty/Associate Campus Dean
Dr. Robert E. Culver has spent approximately 25 years in the field of information technology—with a primary focus in the mainframe, midrange, and client-server systems environments. He has held a variety of positions in operations, software maintenance and development, project management, and business systems analysis.
Currently, the Principal Broker at the Conyers, Georgia-based Paragon Realty, Dr. Culver was also the President and Chief Consultant for his self-owned IT consulting company, in which he focused on contract negotiations, resource allocation, and portfolio management. Notable clients included Essilor of America, Georgia Student Finance, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Profit Recovery Group, London Bridge, and Mag Mutual Insurance.
Dr. Culver has been teaching business and computer information systems courses at Strayer University since 2008. He is currently a Professor and Associate Campus Dean for the Lithonia, Georgia Campus, as well as a Program Lead for the School of Information Systems and Technology.
He earned his D.B.A. in Information Systems from Argosy University, his M.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Mercer University, and a B.S.B.A. in Information Systems from Auburn University at Montgomery.
