Dr. Walter Dingman has more than 40 years of leadership, training and development, and business experience in the private and public defense sectors. As a command and instructor pilot in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, Dr. Dingman served as a flight instructor for three airplanes, and was eventually responsible for developing and evaluating all flight, academic, and simulator training for the Air Force’s F-111 program. Additionally, he served as a member of a defense contract team that developed the first comprehensive computer-based training program for F-111s.
Dr. Dingman’s career includes more than a decade of teaching at universities in Virginia, with a focus on MBA courses, leadership, and human resources. He has also worked with various small businesses and ministries to enhance their business practices and leadership skills.
He is currently a full-time Professor of Human Resource Management at Strayer University’s Newport News Campus in Virginia.
Dr. Dingman holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Development from Chapman University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of New Mexico.
