History

Since 1892, when Strayer University was founded as a business college designed to help people learn business skills that would increase their marketability, the University has expanded its course offerings in areas such as accounting, business, health services, information systems, information technology, management and leadership, public administration and more.
Leadership
Strayer University administrators, the Board of Trustees and our Board of Directors are responsible for the strategic vision and financial strength of the University.
Together, they uphold our mission to support adult students by mapping our campus expansion into new cities, enhance our on-campus technology, improve our infrastructure, bring in well-qualified faculty, provide the highest levels of student support, and identify other ways Strayer University can help propel adult students in their pursuit of higher education.
