Senior Seminar in Accounting (ACC499)

This course will be conducted in part with classroom lectures on applied professional research in accounting. Discussion questions, exercises, and research cases will be assigned and reviewed from the research textbook. The initial class sessions will also be used to assist the students to analyze real-world cases and prepare reports on the analyses. Students may not fulfill the senior seminar requirement by completing another course. The instructor will establish progress milestones and requirements for draft writings to help the students to manage their case analyses. Students in groups will prepare and present a defense of a case project.
