Perspective: Customer Service Is A Critical Success Factor For Every Organization

Excellent customer service is a critical success factor for any organization. But to truly be effective, a culture of service has to exist at every level ofthe company. According to a survey by Avaya, while 80% of companies think they deliver great customer service, only 8% oftheir customers agree.
 
I understand the demands, as well as the rewards, of delivering excellent customer service. Before joining Strayer University, I
co founded and managed business and strategic developmentfor an application service provider serving the higher education market. I worked with a dedicated team to ensure that we were meeting the immediate and long term needs of our customers and business partners. Now, at Strayer University, I see top notch service delivery every day as ourfaculty and staff go above and beyond for our students and supportthem in earning their degrees.

Dr. Reich Cosentino currently serves as the interim provost and chief academic officer of Strayer University. She holds a bachelor s degree in psychology and political science from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Harvard University, and a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
