Master of Education: Educational Management Concentration
Nowhere is education more important to career success than in the field of education. At Strayer University, we make it easy for teachers and others to become students without interrupting their jobs or personal lives. Our Master of Education program will enable you to quickly and efficiently sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge. The Master of Education program is designed for individuals involved in education, training, development, human resources, career development, instructional technology, or trade and education association management. By combining the latest information technology tools, business skills and education theories, the program provides you with real-life techniques that you can apply immediately to classroom situations, education management and administrative challenges.
The Master of Education program is offered with two areas of concentration:
- Educational Management
- Technology in Education
Completion of Strayer University’s Master of Education program does not guarantee a student has met the requirements to apply for public school teacher or administrator licensure in any state. Students pursuing teacher or school administrator certifications in the public school system should contact their respective state offices of education as well as local school
district to confirm educational requirements before beginning the program.
Strayer University has been granted authorization by the State of Alabama under Ala. Code §16-5-10 (14) (1975) to offer the academic degree program described herein. Since credentials earned in the Master of Education program do not automatically qualify for teacher certification, endorsement and/or salary benefits within the State of Alabama, prospective students are advised to contact the Office of the Alabama State Superintendant of Education and/or their local school district administrators for verification.
