Associate in Arts in Marketing
The Associate in Arts in Marketing program is designed to provide students with a strong liberal arts background and introduce them to the field of marketing. Students develop abstract logical thinking skills, critical analysis skills, computer literacy skills and enhanced writing skills. Course requirements foster historical, political, social and ethical awareness. Additionally, students are provided the basis for theoretical and background knowledge in marketing.
The graduate of the associate in arts program may apply all the credits earned toward a Bachelor of Business Administration. All the Marketing Area II courses fit the BBA Marketing concentration, for other concentrations 1-3 of the Marketing Area II courses would be applied as Area IV Electives in the BBA.
