Associate in Arts in Economics
The Associate in Arts in Economics program is designed to provide students with a strong liberal arts background and introduce them to the field of economics. Students develop abstract logical thinking skills, critical analysis skills, computer literacy skills and enhanced writing skills. Course requirements foster historical, political, social and ethical awareness. Additionally, students are provided the basis for theoretical and background knowledge in economics.
Graduates of the associate in arts program may apply all the credits earned toward a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
