Bachelor of Science in Information Systems

The principle objective of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program is to teach students state of the art computer concepts. This will prepare them for programmer/analyst, database management, web development, networking, internetworking and security positions.

Students are expected to demonstrate basic computer skills in order to succeed in Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program. Therefore, CIS 105: Introduction to Computer Information Systems is a prerequisite to the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. Students may fulfill this requirement through several different options: transfer credit, successful completion of a challenge exam, successful completion of the course, or placement by the Campus Dean.

Graduates of this program may apply all the credits earned toward a bachelor of science in information systems.

Also available: a Master of Science in Information Systems, an Executive Graduate Certificate and Associate in Arts in Information Systems.

The average time to complete this undergraduate program attending on a parttime basis, 9.0 credit hours per quarter, is 60 months.
