Presents the various components of the humanresource management process (planning, recruitment, selection,training/development, compensation, performance appraisal, laborrelations, employee relations), and the associated activities toperform these functions. Highlights the human resource managementresponsibilities of all managers. Emphasizes job analysisconsiderations, the supporting role of human resource managementto strategic planning, and the major government legislation affectinghuman resource management.
