This course provides an introduction to contemporary informationsystems and demonstrates how these systems are used throughoutthe organization. The focus of this course will be on the keycomponents of information systems - people, software, hardware,data, and communication technologies, and how these componentsare developed, acquired and integrated to create a competitiveadvantage.
