This course provides the students with an introduction to the theoryand applied concepts of database design, database managementand information management. Students will focus on identifyingorganizational information requirements, express those requirementsusing conceptual data modeling techniques, verifying the structuralcharacteristics with normalization techniques and convert conceptualdata models into physical database models.
