This course provides a foundational overview of the types of crimesand terrorist acts committed using digital technology. Students willexplore information technology, computing networks and the Internetin a criminal justice context. Topics include the theories addressingdigital criminals and an overview of legal strategies and tacticstargeting digital crime. Fundamental research skills in theinvestigation of digital crime and terrorism also will be explored.
