Incorporates in-depth examination of the theory and practice of thedesign, development, implementation and evaluation of curricula. Itencompasses the development of a K-12 curriculum involving asystematic approach to identifying learners' needs, establishing goalsand objectives, and selecting educational strategies to meet those needs. Students explore the impact of educational research oncurriculum plans and development. Emphasis will be placed onexamination of curriculum standards, state and national influences,diversity issues, and curriculum assessments.
