This course provides an overview of the various aspects of healthcareorganizations. Specific areas covered include the transition anddevelopment of the industry, organizational design, oversight andmanagement roles and responsibilities of various types of healthcareinstitutions and professionals, evaluating the purpose and clinicalperformance of physicians, nurses, clinical support and communityhealth services and the organizations functions of financial and humanresource management, information services, customer services andmarketing and strategy.
