This course is the foundation of public policy analysis. Explores theinterrelationships among politics, policy formulation andimplementation, and ethics and values with emphasis on the publicsector in the United States. Examines how political parties, keystakeholders, interest groups, and public opinion influences publicpolicy; its role and issues in federal, state, local, and non-profitagencies; and how public bureaucracies implement policy throughdecision-making, planning, organizing, and other administrativeprocesses.
