Strayer University's Associate in Arts in Economics (AAEC) program* provides the foundational knowledge and skills you need to apply economic principles to management decisions in business and government.

Students enrolled in Strayer's AAEC program learn the fundamentals of micro- and macroeconomics. While exploring how economic policies affect our daily lives through case studies and real world examples, you will gain an appreciation for the economic aspects of the business world.

Coursework enables students to develop skills applicable in economics jobs such as Market Research Analyst and Survey Researchers, which are found in businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies, policy institutes, and government agencies.

Earning a Strayer University economics degree online or on-campus, will help prepare you for an entry-level position in finance, banking, government policy, or any of a variety of roles in today's business world.
