All students seeking a diploma from Strayer University must complete the Degree Conferral Application and pay the $125 Degree Evaluation Fee (students seeking a certificate will be billed a $25 Evaluation Fee). During the evaluation of students’ applications, the records department will determine if students are clear to receive their diploma OR that there are additional requirements to meet. The Degree Conferral Application is not related to registering and participating in a Commencement ceremony. 10-12 weeks after successfully completing all degree requirements, the students’ diploma will be available at their home campus.

Please note, 2009 commencement registration is closed. Commencement registration for 2010 ceremonies will open in January 2010. Students who have submitted their degree conferral application and are interested in attending a 2010 ceremony must visit www.strayer.edu/graduation in January to register.

*Please note, for the Washington, DC ceremony, commencement registration will be limited to the first 1,800 eligible students to register for the ceremony. We expect this ceremony to be three hours.
