Addresses the U.S. health care system and the factors which shape it. Introduces students to the historical development, structural organization, delivery, and financing of the health care system. The course also examines the roles of various institutions and professional groups in the provision of health services. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills from the general management literature that are essential in the organization and management of health services organizations.
