History and Methods of Science (HUM300)
Presents an overview of physical and natural sciences, with the goal of enhancing the student's ability to read, understand and apply scientific knowledge. Examines the scientific method of inquiry, life sciences, major natural laws, the structure of matter, and concepts that have come to shape our emerging view of the cosmos. Topics covered include questions of current public interest, such as cloning, genetic engineering, nuclear energy and evolution.
