Going to college to earn a degree is a challenging endeavor. To provide the academic support you need to be successful, Strayer University has put together a tutoring program and learning resources center that are designed with the busy professional in mind.

Strayer University offers free one-on-one or small group academic tutoring sessions to students at each of its campuses, as well as a program for online students. Services are offered to students who are in need of assistance to acquire requisite knowledge, or who may simply want to excel in a given course.

Trained tutors will assist students with:

  • Assessing specific needs
  • Developing a plan of action for academic improvement and specific skill development
  • Showing how to properly prepare assignments for courses within their respective disciplines.

Students may schedule an appointment with a tutor, visit one of the campus-based tutoring centers, or register for an online tutoring session. Please visit your Home Campus page for tutoring schedules and contact information.

Learning Resources Center

The Learning Resources Center (LRC) supports the University's academic mission and its adult learners through services and collections available on-campus and online.

The LRC library team is comprised of the Director of Libraries, Regional Librarians, and cataloging staff as well as the LRC Managers who are located at each campus. They are available to all of Strayer’s students to assist with research and other academic needs.
