2008 Strayer University Graduation and Commencement Ceremony Information

To graduate from Strayer University and to attend a commencement ceremony, students must follow the steps below.  Before beginning the application process all students must be enrolled in their final courses and have fulfilled all financial commitments to the University. Students who meet these requirements should complete the graduation application online. Students interested in participating in a commencement ceremony must first complete the graduation application online then register to participate in a commencement ceremony.
 
1. Complete the graduation application online [1]. Following your submission, a $125 degree evaluation fee will be automatically charged to your student account and you will receive a CONFIRMATION email.
 
2. In 7-10 business days, students will receive a SECOND email informing them of their eligibility to participate in a commencement ceremony and their eligibility to receive their diploma. Students should not make plans to participate in a commencement ceremony until an “eligible” email is received.

Please note: Only students with two or fewer courses to complete in their degree program are eligible to participate in a commencement ceremony. Questions regarding outstanding classes should be directed to your campus dean and questions regarding outstanding balances should be directed to your home campus Business Office.
 
How to Participate in a 2008 Commencement Ceremony

To participate in a commencement ceremony all students must FIRST complete the graduation application online by clicking on the link above. After students receive an email confirmation informing them of their eligibility to participate in a commencement ceremony they must register for a commencement ceremony online before the 2008 deadlines [3] by selecting the link below. After successfully registering for a commencement ceremony it is recommended that students then order their commencement ceremony attire. [4]
