Dr. Bill Dafnis

Dean of the School of Information Systems and Technology

Bill Dafnis is Dean of the School of Information Systems and Technology at Strayer University. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University; an MBA from Lake Forest College; and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois. His research interests include business process alignment, innovation planning, disruptive change, and information security.

Dr. Dafnis was awarded a Media Management fellowship by the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a certified Project Management Professional. He has more than 20 years of applied corporate, business, and information technology experience at a Fortune 500 company. He has served as an adjunct faculty member in business, management, and information systems at a variety of institutions.
