The Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) provides college-level educational opportunities for active duty servicemembers and their families. Since active duty military members frequently move, it can be difficulty to complete a degree at one institution. SOC enables servicemembers to complete an undergraduate degree at a participating institution regardless of where he or she is stationed.
Strayer University has been a proud member of SOC since 1984. Today, there are over 1,800 colleges and universities in this higher education consortium. More information about SOC can be found on the SOC Web site.
Students who wish to participate in the SOC program must complete a Request for SOC Agreement Form and submit it with the required documentation to their admissions officer.
