Who Can Enter 

You are eligible to enter if: 

  • You are 18 years of age or older as of July 15, 2013
  • You are a legal United States resident residing in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. 

You are not eligible to enter and will be disqualified if: 
You are a Strayer University student, an employee of Strayer University or any of its respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies or a member of the immediate family of a Strayer University employee (parent, children, siblings, spouse, regardless of where they live) or live in the same household of a Strayer University employee (whether related or not). 

How to Enter 
To enter, complete the pop-up survey on the Campus Locations section of www.strayer.edu. You must complete all required fields on the entry form. You may enter only once each contest day. Duplicate entries will be discarded and will not be considered for prize eligibility purposes. Only entries submitted via the pop-up survey on www.strayer.edu will be accepted. Entries submitted via any other method, including but not limited to email, U.S. Postal Service, facsimile or other express delivery services, will NOT be accepted. You will not be required to enroll at, or to purchase any good or service from Strayer University, to be eligible to enter or win this Contest. 

By submitting your entry form, you accept all contest rules and agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which will be final. Strayer University reserves the right to edit, adapt, publish, and use your submission, name or likeness, without compensation. By participating in the contest, you consent to any such use, including for commercial purposes, without compensation. =

Deadline for Entries 
The contest runs from July 17, 2013 to August 21, 2013. 

Winner Selection, Prizes and Notification 
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible responses received by the deadline. Entrants must complete all required fields on the entry form. Strayer University personnel will randomly select the winner on 08/22/2013 from the eligible responses received. The winner will be notified via email or telephone within seven (7) days of the drawing. The prize is an Apple iPad™ with Retina display, which has a retail value of $499. Any and all local, state and federal taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The winner will have 30 days to provide a valid address for delivery of the prize or else another winner may be selected. 

Release 
By participating in the Strayer University Campus Webpages Survey (the "Survey"), entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Strayer University, White and Partners, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, dealers, dealer advertising associations, advertising and promotions agencies, prize suppliers and any other agency that provides services in connection with this Survey, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, contractors and agents and successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize in the Survey, or their participation in the Survey, or their participation in any Survey or prize related activity. Entrant also further acknowledges that Strayer University, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, and promotions and advertising agencies have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize or the Survey. 

Publicity 
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's consent to use of entrant's name, likeness, photograph, performance, information submitted in the entry form, opinions and/or hometown and state by Strayer University and its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and their advertising and promotion agencies and other designees' for promotional, publicity, public relations and advertising purposes in any manner in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity, without further payment, consideration, permission or notification. 

General Conditions 
Strayer University reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Strayer University's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Strayer University in its sole discretion. If terminated, Strayer University may, at its sole discretion through qualified judges, select the potential Winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received. Strayer University reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Strayer University reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any failure by Strayer University to enforce any term of these Official Rules or any applicable laws shall not constitute a waiver of such right. If any provision of these Official Rules is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then entrant, Strayer University and the court shall endeavor to give effect to the intent reflected in that provision, and the remaining Official Rules shall retain their full force and effect. 

Limitations of Liability 
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (iv) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (v) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (vi) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Strayer University is not responsible for late, damaged or undeliverable entries or for any technical problems, malfunctions of computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Strayer University and the Release Parties are also not responsible for any typographical/other error in entries, selection announcement or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with this Contest. 

Disputes 
This Contest is void where prohibited or otherwise regulated. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Strayer University in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any other jurisdiction.) 

Entrant's Personal Information 
Strayer University and its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies shall use entrant’s name, likeness, photograph, performance, information submitted in the entry form, opinions and/or hometown and state only for promotional, publicity, public relations and advertising purposes.

Winner List 
To obtain a copy of these rules or the name of the Winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: "Strayer University Campus Webpage Survey, Winner [and/or] Official Contest Rules," c/o Corporate Communications Department, 2303 Dulles Station Boulevard, Herndon, VA 20171. Requests for winner list must be received within thirty (30) days of the contest date.
