How Strayer Helps You Prepare to Go Back to School
Going back to earn a degree can be exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. At Strayer, we’re committed to the success of our students, so we’ve developed several concepts to assist you in making a smooth transition back to school. Take a look and these offerings, and consider how they can help you move forward.
GRADUATION FUND
All Strayer undergraduate students are automatically enrolled into the Graduation Fund upon registration. This unique program offers the opportunity to earn up to 25% off your bachelor’s degree tuition—in other words, as much as a quarter of your degree program could be on Strayer. The Graduation Fund is open to all undergraduate enrollees, and you don’t even have to fill out any paperwork.
STUDENT SERVICES COACHES
Every student at Strayer is assigned a Student Services Coach at the beginning of their degree program who works with them until graduation. They can assist you in many ways, including explaining how financial aid works, academic questions, figuring out the best way to structure your degree or change your major, and developing strategies to manage school, work, and life. Their only goal is to help you succeed.
TRANSFER CREDIT ACCEPTANCE
There are ways to earn credits beyond specific courses. If you have credits from another school, or if you have relevant work experience, Strayer will work with you to translate those other credits and experiences into Strayer transfer credits. With these credits, you’ll move along your path to graduation quickly and with lower costs.
FOUNDATIONS OF SUCCESS
Foundations of Success (FOS) is a special course offered for all new Strayer students. In this class, you’ll learn all about Strayer, and you’ll also learn more about yourself in terms of learning style, time management, study skills, goal setting, critical thinking, and research strategies, among other skills. These are all critically important to academic success, so starting with this foundational course will get you off to a great start.
These are just some of the ways that Strayer is committed to seeing
you through to graduation.
