Where has the time gone? Believe it or not, 2014 is almost over, and the holidays are just around the corner. This season is a time for reflection: to look back on our successes of the past year and to look ahead towards what we want to accomplish in the new year. It’s also a time to think about everything we have to be thankful for. The people in our lives who help us on our journey—our family, our friends, our professors. The opportunities we’ve been given—an education, a rewarding career. There are things to be thankful for almost everywhere we look. In the spirit, Strayer University is counting down the seven days until Thanksgiving with #TheGratitude7 challenge. We want to know what you’re thankful for, and we’re asking you to share with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using the hashtag #TheGratitude7.
It’s important to give thanks every day, and to remember everything you have to be thankful for. Studies show that the more you give thanks, the happier you are, but we sometimes get caught up in the responsibilities of our daily lives and forget. That’s why we’re taking this opportunity to challenge each of you to show us what you’re grateful for. Every day until Thanksgiving, we’ll share a piece of inspiration to remind you to share. Simply tell us why you’re thankful using the hashtag #TheGratitude7 to join the conversation. Your images and messages will show up in our inspirational mosaic here on Buzz. Be sure to check back to see yours, and to see what other people are giving thanks for this season. Every day should be an opportunity to show appreciation in some way, and we’re hoping that #TheGratitude7 will get you in the habit! Follow Strayer University on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
