Strayer University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. 267-284-5000), which is one of the six regional accrediting bodies in the United States. The Commission is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
The University’s Master of Education (MEd) degree program is accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) through June 24, 2020.

Quiet study areas
The Douglasville campus and community work together for the benefit of local students, featuring campus organizations like the Toastmasters Club and Phi Beta Lambda that hold community events. Regular workshops are also held to assist help students’ professional and personal development.
The campus is situated near various shops and eateries, including Arbor Place Mall, Starbucks, Dunkin’, Panera Bread—all within a quarter mile of the campus.
