- How many courses you take at a time will determine how long the overall program will be. Strayer University credits are expressed in quarter hours.
- One quarter hour of credit is granted for the successful completion of 10 contact hours per course.

Program cost breakdown
The Strayer Graduate Certificate in Corporate Learning consists of 3 courses, with the price of $1,680 per course. The additional fees for textbooks and supplies, a $65 technology fee each term, and a one-time $25 degree conferral fee.
Scholarships and financial aid
There are a number of financial aid options worth exploring on our financial aid page. To apply for federal aid, prospective students should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Stafford loans are available for undergraduate and graduate study. These are direct unsubsidized loans, not based on financial need. Unlike subsidized loans, Stafford Loan interest will accrue while in the program. Making interest payments while in school will help reduce the amount of principal that would otherwise build up, reducing your end cost.
There are also scholarships and private loans available for Strayer students.

If your employer is a Corporate Alliance Partner, you may qualify for programs that can help you discover career pathways in your field.
Nonfederal loans can help pay the difference between the cost of attendance and the total of loans and grants received from other tuition assistance programs.
Military tuition assistance
Scholarships are offered to eligible students currently serving in the military, as well as military spouses. Strayer is also approved by Veterans Affairs to accept and process veteran education benefits. Learn more about the Strayer University active military assistance program here.
In addition to participating fully in the Yellow Ribbon Program, Strayer is approved by Veterans Affairs to accept and process veteran education benefits. Student veterans can receive transfer credit for military training and life experiences.
What courses do you need to specialize in learning and development?
Discover what it takes to become a learning and development professional in a corporate setting. Your coursework will help you build skills to prepare curricula, develop classroom strategies and analyze results for adult education scenarios. View all courses.
Examine the systematic processes of effective instructional design to create an instructional and training product. Content includes instructional design process and models, ADDIE framework, connections between learning theories and instructional design, relationship of technology to instructional design, and applications of state and national content standards to the design and development of instructional and training products.
Examine the elements of training and development in organizational and educational environments. Students learn how to incorporate adult learning theory into training and developmental programs. Topics include planning, facilitating and assessing training and development of adults.
Examine the primary components of managing the training function within an organization. Effective strategies to be explored include program development, budgeting, team roles, internal consulting, training delivery methods, project management, course development for different media and learning management systems.
