While a postsecondary degree is required for many professions, completion of a Strayer University degree program does not guarantee employment in any profession. Prior to enrollment, students are responsible to confirm all education, training, and licensing requirements in their chosen field. Credits, degrees, certificates and diplomas earned from Strayer University’s accounting programs do not automatically qualify the holder to participate in professional licensing examinations, such as the Certified Public Accountant examination, or to practice certain professions in Florida or any other state. All students interested in practicing a regulated accounting profession requiring licensure from a state regulatory agency, and especially those students in Florida, should contact the appropriate state regulatory agency in the field of their interest.

Completion of Strayer University’s criminal justice programs does not guarantee that a student has met the requirements for employment in the criminal justice field. Prior to enrollment, students are encouraged to consult the applicable licensing agency in the field of their employment.

Completion of Strayer University’s Master of Education program does not guarantee a student has met the requirements to apply for public school teacher or administrator licensure in any state, nor that the student is eligible for pay raises, promotions or other job-related benefits.
Students pursuing teacher or school administrator certifications in the public school system should contact their respective state offices of education as well as local school district to confirm educational requirements before beginning the program.

Completion of Strayer University’s Master of Health Services Administration program, completion of an MBA concentration in Health Services Administration, or completion of a Bachelor of Business Administration concentration in Health Services Administration, does not guarantee a student has met the requirements to apply for licensure as a healthcare administrator in any state.
